When
I first got started in Cowboy Action Shooting last year, my wife thought I was
crazy. Dressin’ up like a dang
fool and shootin’ old fashioned guns! 'What kinda fun is that?' she
snapped with a roll of her big brown eyes.
I told her that CAS could not be
adequately justified by my limited vocabulary and that she was just gonna have
to go to a shoot and
experience it herself.
So she did just that. The
next scheduled shoot was our annual 3 day affair and she came out on the second
day. It took all of about 2 seconds for her to find the most
expensive dresses, hats, and frilly things in our rendition of suttler’s row.
Boy
was I in trouble. She was hooked on
the costumes and soon had stuff picked out for most of the family.
And if ya can count, that’s a lot a kin to adorn with new britches and
dresses.
Needless
to say, I wasn’t feeling so bad about spendin’ so much on that new Uberti
Yellow Boy, the new Bakail coach gun, those 3 new pistols, and all that re-loadin’
stuff I picked up last summer. But
my sigh of relief quickly changed to a dead run panic when the next thought
popped into my mind. “How am I gonna pay for all this stuff”?
I already had to hock the family cat to get that new set of dies for the
Lee ! I was in big trouble.
So
There I was, sittin’ on my home-made gun cart, when it hit me like a
scattergun blast! Everyone needs a
gun cart! I could build em and sell
em and that would help me pay for all this cowboy stuff!
And
that’s where you come in. Buy a
Shootin’ Cart. Please! Buy
two. Buy Three!
Heck, buy em all! The more
you buy, the sooner I can get the whole family rigged up. And please hurry! My
son John is already beggin’ for his own shootin’ irons and my wife’s
eye’n my Vaquero. (side note: I
made the mistake of lettin’ her shoot it instead one of my Millenniums awhile
back – she didn’t want to give it back to me)
If I don’t make enough to get her a pair of Vaq’s soon, I think mine
will end up in her rig. I can’t
part with my baby. Please help!
P.S.
